Welcome to Black Bayou Boarding Downtown — Lake Charles’ newest cage-free play destination. We created a place where dogs can feel at home, stay social, and be supervised by our caring team. Every pup is evaluated before their first stay to ensure a safe, friendly pack environment. We’re committed to giving dogs a fun, structured, and stress-free experience.
Located in the heart of downtown, we also offer an event only Dog Park where dogs can play, explore, and socialize while owners relax nearby. With future additions like a curated retail space launching after the New Year, Black Bayou Boarding Downtown is growing into a full dog-friendly community hub. We’re excited to welcome your pup and provide a place they’ll love just as much as home.

My team and I are dedicated to providing the highest quality, healthiest and most fun-loving care for pets and the parents who love them. We also offer comfort and relief to you by posting pics and videos of your fur baby on our private facebook throughout their whole stay!
